Chopard L.U.C XP Urushi Collection Newly Launched in Japan

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Chopard a new Chopard L.U.C XP Urushi Collection has been introduced in Japan. The exceptional timepieces combine the award-winning L.U.C XP with beautiful lacquer techniques from the Land of the Rising Sun. Using the traditional techniques of Urushi and Maki-e lacquering, the dials have been crafted with great care and delicacy by the collaborative efforts of top Urushi master, Mr. Kiichiro Masumura, and Yamada Heiando, purveyor of tableware to the Japanese Imperial Household. The three new models align with Chopard’s celebration theme – Animal World – and complement the six L.U.C XP with Urushi dials launched in 2009 on the theme of the five-element philosophy.
